Every session begins with a (no-obligation, free) consultation. I like to do this first as it enables you to come and meet me, see the studio (if you decide on a studio shoot) have a cup of tea and an informal chat, where we can discuss any questions, expectations, the creative direction of the shoot and generally get to know eachother a bit better. Its the part where we can figure out how to make the shoot extra enjoyable and personal for you and your little ones! We can do the shoot in the comfort of your own home or in my beautiful cosy vintage themed studio, or if you and your family prefer to be outside exploring, climbing and generally being more active then I am always happy to go adventuring with you in a place that is close to your hearts! Whether that's a beach, a secret garden, up mountains or even just in your local park!

The shoot itself will be 2-3 hours giving you lots of time for feeds and changes. The main priority will be that you feel comfortable and relaxed. Even though there is a timeframe if we go a little over it really isnt a problem! I know from experience (from previous sessions) that its best to be flexible with little ones around!
There is the option to finish the shoot with a short 'skin-to-skin' session. I personally love photos of babies with their mummas (and papa's, although this is a little rarer!) all naked and natural... Just so beautiful
and definately where my heart is!

However, this shoot is all about you as a family, so whether this option is for you or not is completely your decision.

After the session, I will post-proccess the images for you to choose from. We can either meet up and go through them together, or if it is easier for you then I will upload the images to a private online gallery for you to peruse and choose at your leisure!

Once you have decided which ones you love the most, you will receive a fine art portfolio box containing 5 6x8 mounted images (ready to slip into a frame) plus 5 web optimised images (I will send you a special download code) perfect for sharing online or with friends and family. There is also the option to buy more prints if you simply can't make up your mind!

“It was an absolutely joy to spend an afternoon with Tilly photographing our little family.

We wanted to capture the magic of a new arrival, and Tilly was just fantastic at making us feel at ease, and working around a crying/ grumpy/ sleepy/ grimacing baby. She had lovely ideas and we are really happy with the beautiful shots she captured. To be treasured forever (and to embarrass our little one when she’s a teenager). Thanks so much!! x “ - Jo and Tom.
